Today I created my first video in Clipchamp. The film was created up of three shots that I obtained for free from Pixabay and Pexels.
Night Drive By Damian Sibielak
I started by importing the media using the menu in the top left corner. I imported three clips and the music I wanted to use was from the Clipchamp music library.
I then added a text field to add my title on a black background, changed the font to DM Sans in size 80, and used the menu on the right to adjust the duration. Next, I selected the text effect to Slow Zoom. I then loaded the clips, divided them and organized them so that editing was quite quick. In order to make editing go quickly, I then added three clips, divided them, and arranged them. I also added an SMS generated in the fake message generator (https://ifaketextmessage.com/). Then I went to transitions in the left menu and added 'Cross fade' transitions. Next I put four text boxes at the end to add credits, this time I used 'Credit roll'. Finally, I added the music, reviewed, and made any necessary adjustments before exporting the MP4 file to my computer. The final step was to post my just-created video to the blog along with a description of how it was made.
The purpose of this task was to gain practical experience with the Clipchamp video editing programme. My primary objective was to gain skilled in the program's most important functions as I had never used it before. The film I made is an example of my new skills even though it lacks artistic value.
